To Manal Al Fadhil, Thank you for your question. Being hypothyroid (low in thyroid) does make it more difficult to conceive as ovulation is often not regular in the hypothyroid state, however once the condition is corrected ie. you are in a euthyroid or normal thyroid state, this is not a factor and ovulation should occur unaffected. The level you mention in your question being 1.51 most likely is a TSH or thyroid stimulating hormone level (please ask your doctor if this is the test done). In this case this number is in the normal range and provided this stays in the normal range it should not be a factor in chances of conception. It is recommended that you have your thyroid level checked every few months especially during pregnancy so that thyroid hormone supplementaion can be adjusted to maintain a normal level. I hope this information is helpful to you, however if you have other questions we will be happy to help you out. Kind Regards
