Question:

When I wake up in the morning, my palms and fingers (on the palm side) feel swollen. I fel tightness when I clench my fists. When I walk, this gets worse, and my palms and fingers get really tight and red, as if there is too much blood in them. My blood pressure is 117-130/70, and my pulse rate is around 60. What can be the cause of this?

We regret to advise that there is not only insufficient information in your question to even hazard a guess - and guessing is unwise in this sort of situation - but the possibilities need to be assessed, confirmed or excluded by a thorough history-taking and physical examination by a doctor. We suggest you make an appointment with your or our physician on Monday.
