Fever blisters is a term often inaccurately applied to different lesions. If you mean herpes simplex lesions, these are very contagious and need special treatment from your doctor. Plantar warts result from infection with HPV (human papilloma virus). They are commonly 'picked up' in public (wet / moist) places, such as college or boarding school bathrooms and gyms, public showers and swimming and spa pools. Plantar warts are contagious, and can spread to other family members. There are various treatments such as applying liquids, plasters, freezing (with liquid nitrogen), cautery (burning), and recently medical laser procedures. Warts usually require several or prolonged treatment depending on what approach is chosen and this should be discussed with your doctor as it depends on where the warts are, age of the patient, and of course what treatments are available where you live in Russia. An individual patient is always advised to consult their own physician.
